Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA), 52-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Live Oak upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Acorns host Westmont (Campbell, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 19-0. Westmont won 46-30 in their recent league bout against Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Dons clash with the Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 10. Del Mar will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 58-44 league loss to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
