North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Airy tipped by East Wilkes

The East Wilkes Cardinals basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Mount Airy Granite Bears to 37 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Stokes for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. East Wilkes will meet a Vikings team coming off a 36-35 non-league win over Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 13-6.
The Granite Bears (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, North Surry nudged West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC), 63-49, in a league contest.
