Two Eagle River Eagles (Pablo, MT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Alberton Panthers (Alberton, MT), 60-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Two Eagle River upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Regis (St. Regis, MT) to play the Tigers in a C District 14 bout on Friday, February 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-2. St. Regis won 67-44 in their recent league bout against Charlo (Charlo, MT)

Next up, the Panthers play the St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Alberton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 91-38 league loss to Lincoln County (Eureka, MT).
