The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Amherst Falcons to 47 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Xavier for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Wittenberg-Birnamwood will meet a Hawks team coming off a 70-62 league win over New London (New London, WI). The Hawks record now stands at 18-1.

The Falcons (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Auburndale (Auburndale, WI). The Apaches enter the non-league contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Auburndale nudged Crandon (Crandon, WI), 57-23, in a non-league contest.
