Averroes Falcon (Fremont, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Quarry Lane Cougars (Dublin, CA), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Averroes upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Falcon travel to Oakland Military Institute (Oakland, CA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 6-15. Oakland Military Institute lost 74-59 in their recent non-league bout against Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA)
