The Warroad Warriors basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators to 50 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kittson Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Warroad will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 74-35 non-league win over Clearbrook-Gonvick (Clearbrook, MN). The Bearcats record now stands at 10-10.

The Gators (1-23) will now prepare for their contest against Warren-Alvarado-Oslo (Warren, MN). The Ponies enter the A Section 8 contest with a 11-16 record. In their last contest, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo triumphed over Kittson Central (Hallock, MN), 61-58, in a non-league contest.
