Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN), 77-76 in a league bout.

With the victory, Barnesville upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Frazee (Frazee, MN) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Frazee lost 78-53 in their recent non-league bout against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Breckenridge Cowboys (Breckenridge, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Perham will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 2-18 record after their 71-37 non-league loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN).
