East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), 62-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Carter upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Raiders host Fairview (Ashland, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-18.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) in a District 61 bout, on Friday, February 9. Bath County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 66-51 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY).
