Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bristol Central Rams (Bristol, CT), 62-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lewis Mills upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Newington (Newington, CT) to play the Nor'easters in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Nor'easters come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Newington won 68-59 in their recent non-league bout against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT)

Next up, the Rams play the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout, on Saturday, February 10. Bristol Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record.
