The Cozad Haymakers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Broken Bow Indians to 40 in the Haymakers league victory on Thursday.
The Haymakers now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCook for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Cozad will battle a Bison team coming off a 59-52 league loss to Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE). The Bison record now stands at 8-11.
The Indians (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Amherst (Amherst, NE). The Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Amherst prevailed over Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE), 64-52, in a non-league contest.
