The St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) basketball nipped the visiting Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV), 44-40 in Thursday's league test.
The Red Dragons (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Calvary Baptist Academy (Hurricane, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Calvary Baptist Academy got by Hannan (Ashton, WV), 78-34, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Winfield for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10.
