Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) and the host Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC), saw Calhoun County's basketball squad overcome Williston-Elko by a tally of 68-49.

With the victory, Calhoun County improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans (Neeses, SC) in a A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Williston-Elko will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 58-47 league win over Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC).
