New York High School Basketball - Central Valley Academy crushes Notre Dame

February 8, 2024: Utica, NY 13502

Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Notre Dame Jugglers (Utica, NY), 71-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Valley Academy upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Thunder host Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Golden Knights come into the bout with a record of 10-7.

Next up, the Jugglers play the New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial bout, on Friday, February 9. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 85-62 league win over Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY).
