Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Gull Lake Blue Devils (Richland, MI) and the host Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI), saw Gull Lake's basketball squad knock off Central by a count of 53-43.

With the victory, Gull Lake upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI) to play the Maroon Giants in a Southwestern Michigan - East challenge on Friday, February 16. The Maroon Giants come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Kalamazoo Central lost 71-62 in their recent league challenge against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Everett Vikings (Lansing, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record.
