The Chandler Lions basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Okemah Panthers to 53 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holdenville for a 66 contest on Friday, February 9. Chandler will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 82-45 non-league win over Konawa (Konawa, OK). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-7.
The Panthers (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Henryetta (Henryetta, OK). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Henryetta ran past Beggs (Beggs, OK), 45-39, in a league contest.
