The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Chaparral Lobos to 43 in the Desert Warriors league victory on Thursday.

The Desert Warriors now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deming for a 4A District 3 contest on Monday, February 12. Santa Teresa will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 66-41 league loss to Silver (Silver City, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-20.

The Lobos (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Silver (Silver City, NM). The Fighting Colts come into the 4A District 3 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Silver prevailed over Deming (Deming, NM), 66-41, in a league contest.
