The Ferris Saxons basketball team scored 24 points and restricted the host Cheney Blackhawks to 22 in the Saxons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Saxons now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mead for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Ferris will battle a Panthers team coming off a 84-54 league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-10.
The Blackhawks (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Mead (Spokane, WA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Mead was nudged by Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA), 84-54, in a league contest.
