Michigan High School Basketball - Pinconning can't hold off Clare

The Clare Pioneers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Pinconning Spartans to 48 in the Pioneers league victory on Thursday.
The Pioneers now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrison for a Jack Pine contest on Monday, February 12. Clare will battle a Hornets team coming off a 73-30 league loss to Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 3-15.
The Spartans (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy edged Owendale-Gagetown (Owendale, MI), 66-15, in a non-league contest.
