Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN), 70-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Denfeld upgrades its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Hunters travel to Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN) to play the Wolverines in a AAA Section 7 bout on Saturday, February 10. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 18-6. Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] won 82-66 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN)

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Cloquet will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 7-16 record after their 58-56 non-league win over Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN).
