The Cumberland County Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Monroe County Falcons to 57 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Russell County for a District 16 contest on Sunday, February 11.

The Falcons (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Barren County (Glasgow, KY). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Barren County edged Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 54-44, in a non-league contest.
