The Kennedy Eagles basketball team (Bloomington, MN), was overwhelmed 65-34 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN)

The Islanders now possess a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fargo North for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. DeLaSalle will confront a Spartans team coming off a 92-69 league win over Red River (Grand Forks, ND). The Spartans record now stands at 11-5.

The Eagles (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Fridley trounced Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN), 67-38, in a non-league battle.
