In Thursday's league outing, the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), by a count of 66-41.
The Fighting Colts (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the 4A District 3 outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Chaparral was crushed by Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM), 59-43, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 2-20 record. They play next when they host Santa Teresa for a 4A District 3 outing on Monday, February 12. Deming will clash with a Desert Warriors squad coming off a 59-43 league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Desert Warriors record now stands at 10-11.
