In Thursday's non-league outing, the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) basketball squad edged the host Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA), by a count of 30-28.
The Saxons (9-12) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Mt. Spokane held off Mead (Spokane, WA), 84-54, in a league outing.
