Georgia High School Basketball - Stratford Academy crushes First Presbyterian Day

February 8, 2024: Macon, GA 31210

Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host First Presbyterian Day Vikings (Macon, GA), 66-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Stratford Academy upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA) to play the Trojans in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 bout on Friday, February 9. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Tattnall Square Academy won 89-57 in their recent league bout against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 bout, on Friday, February 9. First Presbyterian Day will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 69-54 non-league win over Windsor Academy (Macon, GA).
