New York High School Basketball - Franklin Academy knocked off by Potsdam

The Potsdam Sandstoners basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Franklin Academy Huskies to 53 in the Sandstoners league triumph on Thursday.

The Sandstoners now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ogdensburg Free Academy for a Section 10 Central contest on Saturday, February 10. Potsdam will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 68-59 league loss to Massena (Massena, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-11.

The Huskies (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Red Storm enter the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Saranac Lake ran past Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY), 61-59, in a league contest.
