The St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Freehold Boro Colonials (Freehold, NJ), 94-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Purple Roses (22-2) will now prepare for their test against Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 17-5 record. In their last test, Rumson-Fair Haven walloped Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ), 59-56, in a league test.
The Colonials now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe Township for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Freehold Boro will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 72-56 non-league win over Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 15-6.
