The Gateway Regional Gators basketball team (Huntington, MA), was overwhelmed 70-42 in Thursday's league battle with the host St. Mary Saints (Westfield, MA)

The Saints now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pathfinder RVT for a non-league battle on Monday, February 12. St. Mary will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 57-51 league win over Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion (Hadley, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-5.

The Gators (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Smith Vo-Tech (Northampton, MA). The Vikings come into the Tri-County - South battle with a 3-6 record.
