The Georgia Christian Generals tipped the visiting Tiftarea Academy Panthers basketball team by a final score of 48-41 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Generals face the Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 3 game, on Friday, February 9. Georgia Christian will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 7-16 record after their 61-29 league loss to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA).

With the defeat, Tiftarea Academy moves to 8-13 on the year.
