With the win, Homer upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Pelicans travel to Ringgold (Ringgold, LA) to play the Redskins in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 22-9. Ringgold won 80-32 in their recent league bout against Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA)

Next up, the Lions play the Green Oaks Giants (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Plain Dealing will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Giants go into the bout with a 9-21 record after their 41-34 league loss to Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA).
