The Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ), 61-54 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Rebels (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Colts go into the Shore A - North test with a 17-5 record. In their last test, Christian Brothers Academy got by Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ), 67-51, in a non-league test.

The Bucs now own a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brick Memorial for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15.
