Minnesota High School Basketball - International Falls can't hold off Mesabi East

The Mesabi East Giants basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting International Falls Broncos to 62 in the Giants league victory on Thursday.
The Giants now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ely/Krekelberg HomeSchool for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. Mesabi East will confront a squad coming off a 72-45 league loss to Deer River (Deer River, MN). The record now stands at 9-9.
Next up, the Broncos confront the Roseau Rams (Roseau, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. International Falls will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 11-14 record after their 95-59 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (East Grand Forks, MN).
