The Iowa City Little Hawks basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks to 51 in the Little Hawks league victory on Thursday.
The Little Hawks now sport a 10-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a Mississippi Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Iowa City will battle a Cougars team coming off a 71-57 league win over Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 21-0.
The Wahawks (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (North Liberty, IA). The Lightning come into the Mississippi Valley contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Liberty prevailed over Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA), 73-65, in a league contest.
