Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA), 2-0 in a league bout.

With the win, Tri-Cities upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Banneker (College Park, GA) to play the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, February 9. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Banneker lost 66-55 in their recent league bout against Creekside (Fairburn, GA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 bout, on Friday, February 9. Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 9-15 record after their 69-68 league win over Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA).
