The Waupaca Comets (Waupaca, WI) basketball nipped the host Little Chute Mustangs (Little Chute, WI), 47-41 in Thursday's league test.

The Comets (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Clintonville (Clintonville, WI). The Truckers go into the North Eastern test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Clintonville got by Oconto Falls (Oconto Falls, WI), 71-32, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Fox Valley Lutheran for a North Eastern test on Saturday, February 10. Little Chute will encounter a Foxes squad coming off a 67-61 non-league loss to Appleton East (Appleton, WI). The Foxes record now stands at 17-2.
