Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA), 73-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Lynn English upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Brockton (Brockton, MA) to clash with the Boxers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Boxers go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Brockton lost 62-51 in their recent league bout against Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA)

Next up, the Golden Tornados clash with the Belchertown Orioles (Belchertown, MA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Malden will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 45-36 non-league loss to East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA).
