The North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots to 65 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13.
The Patriots (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND). The Thunder enter the B District 4 contest with a 5-13 record.
