Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks (Weyauwega, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Menominee Indian Eagles (Keshena, WI), 75-74 in a league bout.

With the win, Weyauwega-Fremont upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Warhawks travel to Wautoma (Wautoma, WI) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Wautoma won 80-66 in their recent league bout against Nekoosa (Nekoosa, WI)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Oneida Nation Thunderhawks (Oneida, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Menominee Indian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 79-53 league loss to Crivitz (Crivitz, WI).
