The National Christian Academy Eagles basketball team (Fort Washington, MD), was nudged 63-58 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Springdale Prep Lions (New Windsor, MD)

The Lions now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton Grace for a Metro Private battle on Friday, February 9. Springdale Prep will confront a team coming off a 84-57 league win over New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD). The record now stands at 24-4.

The Eagles (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 22-14 record.
