St. Cloud Tech Tigers (St. Cloud, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN), 73-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Cloud Tech upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN) to play the Crimson in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Crimson go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Maple Grove won 73-64 in their recent non-league bout against Andover (Andover, MN)

Next up, the Storm play the Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Sauk Rapids-Rice will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 79-61 league win over Elk River (Elk River, MN).
