The West Yellowstone Wolverines (Yellowstone, MT) basketball nipped the host Sheridan Panthers (Sheridan, MT), 61-58 in Thursday's league test.

The Wolverines (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Harrison/Willow Creek (Harrison, MT). The Wildcats go into the test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Harrison/Willow Creek got by Twin Bridges (Twin Bridges, MT), 74-46, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gardiner for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Sheridan will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 50-39 league win over Twin Bridges (Twin Bridges, MT). The Bruins record now stands at 6-10.
