Connecticut High School Basketball - Amistad nudges Bassick

February 8, 2024: New Haven, CT 06519

In Thursday's league outing, the Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT), by a margin of 54-47.

The Wolves (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Coventry (Coventry, CT). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Coventry was tipped by Somers (Somers, CT), 48-24, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bunnell for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 10. Bassick will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 74-36 league loss to Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-17.
