The Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) basketball knocked off the host J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), 36-28 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Raiders (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Mustangs go into the Capital test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Mechanicsville notched a victory over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA), 55-19, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they host Hermitage for a Colonial test on Friday, February 9. J.R. Tucker will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 42-38 league loss to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-10.
