North Carolina High School Basketball - Ayden - Grifton overwhelmed by SouthWest Edgecombe

The SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Ayden - Grifton Chargers to 21 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a 2A Eastern Plains contest on Tuesday, February 13. SouthWest Edgecombe will battle a Pam Pack team coming off a 77-25 league loss to North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Pam Pack record now stands at 2-16.

The Chargers (2-21) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Washington, NC). The Pam Pack come into the 2A Eastern Plains contest with a 2-16 record.
