Minnesota High School Basketball - Moorhead can't hold off Brainerd

The Brainerd Warriors basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Moorhead Spuds to 58 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Rapids-Rice for a AAAA Section 8 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Brainerd will battle a Storm team coming off a 68-53 league loss to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Storm record now stands at 8-15.
The Spuds (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Storm come into the AAAA Section 8 contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Sauk Rapids-Rice was nudged by Waconia (Waconia, MN), 67-58, in a non-league contest.
