The Brandon/Evansville Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors to 50 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park Christian for a A Section 6 contest on Friday, February 9. Brandon/Evansville will battle a Falcons team coming off a 66-30 non-league win over Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 20-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Wheaton/Herman-Norcross will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 21-1 record after their 78-73 league win over Underwood (Underwood, MN).
