Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA), 61-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lafayette upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to New Kent (New Kent, VA) to play the Trojans in a Bay Rivers bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 7-14. New Kent lost 53-31 in their recent league bout against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) in a Bay Rivers bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Bruton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 46-27 league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA).
