The Sherman Tide basketball team (Seth, WV), was overwhelmed 54-32 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV)

The Bison now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Point Pleasant for a Twin State battle on Monday, February 12. Buffalo will confront a Big Blacks team coming off a 44-30 non-league win over Scott (Madison, WV). The Big Blacks record now stands at 11-9.

The Tide (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV). The Wildcats come into the Coalfield A battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Meadow Bridge trounced Man (Man, WV), 67-46, in a non-league battle.
