Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cairo Pilots (Cairo, IL), 55-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paducah Tilghman upgrades its record to 5-19 on the season. The Blue Tornado host Ohio County (Hartford, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-16.

Next up, the Pilots play the Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Cairo will attempt to upgrade on its 9-18 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 59-21 non-league loss to Century (Ullin, IL).
