The Palmer Dragons basketball team (Marks, MS), was overwhelmed 47-9 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Calhoun City Wildcats (Calhoun City, MS)
The Wildcats now possess a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ingomar for a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. Calhoun City will confront a Falcons team coming off a 65-20 non-league win over Bruce (Bruce, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 26-4.
The Dragons (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bruce (Bruce, MS). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Bruce was overwhelmed by Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 65-20, in a non-league battle.
