Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moncks Corner, SC), 45-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Cathedral Academy upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Generals host Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC) to play the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 15-9. Porter-Gaud lost 42-39 in their recent league bout against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) in a SCISA AA Region I bout, on Monday, February 12. St. John's Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 34-21 non-league loss to Curtis Baptist (Augusta, GA).
